$850 as a trade-in isn't so bad. I just paid $760 on Ebay  for a 28mm f2.8
lastest version, Mint, with caps and leather case, no box.  Lately on Ebay,
prices were running around $800 to $900 for Mint or LN.  A few Mint version
of the older model have sold for around $1000.
