OK, OK, I'll share a brief synopsis of the test roll I shot to determine
vignetting with filters on the Noctilux.

Rule 1:  any step-down will cause vignetting.

Rule 2:  Even an E-60 Leitz C-Pol will cause vigneting.

Rule 3:  A single B+W or a slim Heliopan works w/out vignetting.

Rule 3:  A step-up in size to 62 mm or larger works w/out vignetting, but
you are cutting into your field of view.

So, Jim is right -- an 060 is probably all you will ever need except perhaps
a KB-12 for night chromes.  (And, it's probably warm enough so an 81A isn't
necessary anyway.)
