Sometimes, when I am focusing, the split image does not come together, but instead, the whole image itself will shift. When this happens I remount the lens and the focusing works fine. I suspected that it might be the lens at first, but now I have three lenses, and it happens with all three lenses. Also, it may focus correctly for a while, and then suddenly have this problem, and the lens was not dismounted between the time it worked properly and started exibiting problems.
