Do you mean the point of taking the pictures, or the point of showing
them to us?  If the former, then it's simple - the couple asked
Michael to take them.  If the latter, it's also simple - he wanted to
see what we thought of them.

Would you ask the same question about landscapes or chaotic street
scenes?  If not, why not?
