Issac,

The Nokton blocks HALF the viewfinder when mounted on a IIIf, although I
suspect the situation would be slightly better with the IIIg.  I guess
that's why Cosina introduced a 50mm external finder at the same time.

For a good size (= usable, viewfinder-wise) 50mm for the IIIf, I would
recommend the latest LTM Summicron 50/2.0.  At around $900 it is not too
unaffordable either.  Conversely, the LTM Summilux 50/1.4 is too large, and
like the Nokton, it also blocks a large part of the IIIf viewfinder.
