Don't forget the roosters who start to crow around 4 a.m., the evangelical
church services which went on for one whole night, the pigs that we ended
up sleeping with one night, flocks of parrots and toucans during the day,
and a cicada-like bug at night!

  have you had problems

I packed all of the film and the lenses and cameras with silica-gel packs
that I made from old film canisters. Everything was put into Seal-line dry
bags with the silica-gel packs. So far, I haven't had any damage from
fungus on the lenses - only on my feet! When I lived in Venezuela, I kept
all of my photography equipment in a closet with a light on all of the time
and never had problems with fungus.

Hope this helps!
