Yup! That is the lens shade! It is about as funky as the flash! But if you
have an uncoated Summitar, the shade is invaluable! IF you think an LTM
draws second looks, try it usung the big square Summarit shade , or whip out
your IIIf and flip open the Summitar shade!! Lotsa puzzled looks!!
