Did you send it to Quality Light Metric. They are supposed to fix any type
of meter. I have one too. It underexposes and can't be adjusted. I'm told
the CdS cell has aged. In yours I would suspect the CdS cell is non-working
at all. too bad, I really like the ergonomics of the meter. Let me know if
you can find a place to repair it.
