It's something ,most of us just get used to it. however the 50 mm finder in
the hot shoe is another way to go.

Subject: [Leica] Using 60mm filter size lenses

I tried a Summilux-M 75/1.4 on my M6 TTL 0.85, and although it is a
fantastic lens, I decided to return it because I could not stand the loss of
the lower right corner of the viewfinder. I was strictly an SLR person
before this (Nikon F3, N80) and losing TTL viewing was one thing, but losing
a 1/4 of the viewfinder was a bit much for me.

I am using a Summicron-M 50/2 now and loving it (amazingly sharp) but I'd
also like to try a Noctilux. I am afraid of the same problem with its 60mm
filter size. Am I missing something here, or is this just something that you
all live with?

Thanks,
Peter
