Yes, and it should be ;-) One of the joys of RF photography with the leica
is that little tab on the lens barrel. If you practice hard enough, you can
estimate distance, and set it without raising the camera. If you now use an
external finder to frame the image, you will have the fastest shutter
response in the world. I've used this now on several "field" trips, and it
does work. The beauty is that you can be adjusting the focus while watching
the action, whereas pre-focusing without the tab requires you to look down
all the time. Its not going to work with telephotos needed at the 'limpics
however, but its good in the crowd.
