I prefer the colour image in this case.  I think it emphasizes the essential
simplicity of the image - by exhibiting the simplicity in both the design
and the colour.  The b&w has a more "one-dimensional" simplicity, of form
only.  I don't feel it makes its point nearly as well.  To me the b&w image
is the boring one - the colour makes my mind and eye linger.
