DR BLACKTAPE RESPONDS - (With utter respect for his correspondent)...

....that he doesn't believe Sontag was "castigating" the craft, merely
making an interesting observation. And Dr. Blacktape finds the
gunownership/collectorship overlap on the LUG "interesting" - and notes
that one "shoots" photos, one is a "shooter," one "aims" the camera, one
"loads" the camera with film "cartridges," etc. etc. etc.

But Dr. Blacktape is NOT looking to start a thread about guns or gun
ownership, nor is is commenting on either. Just noting that he feels
there is at least some truth to Sontag's observation. :-)
