Subject: [Leica] Digital is not photography

I am somewhat bemused by this debate. Surely of all the so called analogue
processes silver halide images are the most digital in origin being
comprised of discrete grains. Whilst more recent electronic digizing allows
easier manipulation and has either less or similar resolution to 35mm film
(depending on POV I side with much less) I do not consider photography to
have ever been an analogue system.
