Well, you amaze me, Stephen. 

Why not argue the specific points of Erwin's with which you 
disagree. Instead, you launch, in public, all manner of attacks 
on Erwin's credibility, ethics, and motives in what he writes. 

I seriously doubt that anyone here is marching, in lockstep, with 
Leica to the extent that they don't occasionally criticize the 
product and/or the company. Nor do I think, for a moment, that 
Erwin is encouraged or subsidized, in any way, by Leica, to write 
what he writes. In fact, many corporations blanch at the thought 
of reports being generated by people outside the corporation. 
Fortunately, the First Amendment of the U.S Constitution 
pervades the Internet and the Gestapo is long gone, thus Erwin 
is free to post what he desires. It is just possible that Erwin truly 
believes that Leica is pretty darn good at what they do. 
Paraphrasing a television news channel in the U.S. "Erwin 
reports, you decide"!

Stephen's post would have overloaded the pepper machine on 
the LEG, Tina.
