Com'mon, Ted - Have a single malt, run some old boxers through the wash, and let it go...Like all threads, off-topic and on, this one too is self-limiting, and seems to be coming to an end....Hey, just be happy that virtually all LUGers have had the good sense not to get going on the subject of the U.S. Presidential election!;-)....And while I'm on the topic, any time that anyone starts to get upset about the lack of civility or topic focus on this list, he or she should pause, think about the fact that we have, indeed, avoided having the list become a Gore/Bush/Chad-bashing site, and be proud of being a
LUGer...

Sorry fellas I was looking for Leica the camera made in Germany, and not another world sociological situation! I'll just move along and have another try some place else. Thank you.

It's not just Germans, not just Russians, not just Turks, not just American settlers, not just arab slave traders, not just Englishman (of which I am one) "empire building", not just Jews with their rocket launching helicopters against stone wielding palestinians...It's all of us...And I believe the message is that unless and until we all realize that hatred and exploitation, cruelty, domination, greed, anger, cold-blooded murder lurk in all of our psyches, it will continue.
