I've tried this approach and, much as I wish it would work, have to say it
never has for me.  The only thing that has worked is to change the angle I'm
shooting from (which compromises the composition I want) or to cover up the
framelines window--either with my finger or a piece of black tape.

True?  The M3's I see listed all go for $1k or more, while I can get a new
M6 TTL for $1700.

Dan (who wouldn't mind owning an M3 anyway!)
