I apologise to all who will be annoyed but this is too interesting to not
pass on. Apparently Leica was considering dropping all their 135 M lenses
and developed a 1.5x extender. You could use a 90/2.8 and the extender and
get a 135/4. Very few prototypes were made and one is up on tHat place right
now. Search for:

Rare Leica M-Extender 1,5X prototype!!

It even couples correctly with the rangefinder!
