Actually guys I hate to disappoint you but we are only now emerging from
8 years of mild government activism. These next 4 years were going to be
the most definitive for the left. This was going to be the time for fundamental
and irreversible changes in the transformation of this place into a safe, clean
smoke free antiseptic neo-socialist utopia. Thankfully they underestimated the
power of
an happy go lucky simpleton-savant who probably still hasn't fully realized just
what he
has won. So it looks like a 4 year reprieve for liberty. Ask anyone who lived on
the wrong side
of the iron curtain and they'll tell you all about what happens when the
government assumes the role of agitator, march organizer, labour leader,
and human rights advocate. I've been told it's not pretty. But that's exactly
what Comarade Gore had planned for us.
You guys are right about one thing, we are going to see an enormous wave of
activism at the hands of an enraged left wing that will overshadow anything
Bush tries to do. It won't be difficult since the enormous resources of the left
will allow them to conduct an uninterrupted high intensity propaganda campaign
compleat with messegy sitcoms, tv reporters, talk show comedians, musicians
and every manner of empowered left wing lunatic telling
you why you hate the new guy and why you are not going to vote for his allies
in 2 years and of course, telling you how ridiculous this guy is. It really is
insidious.
when you think about it.
Whatever the case, Bush really does have his work cut out for him. I wouldn't
mind seeing compromises as long as he doesn't cave in. For example I'de see
nothing wrong
with full drug legalization as long as it's done hand in hand with the elimination
of gun laws and tobacco
laws. I'de also like to see a ban on the death penalty except for mass murder
along with a ban on most types of abortion.
He should not be afraid to get tough though and one thing he could do is
demonopolize the
airwaves. The resistance to this would be enormous and probably violent. Not a
problem with me though.
I'm tired of hearing the viewpoint of the New York and Hollywood left at every
frequency
and type of modulation to the exclusion of all others and would welcome ANY other
viewpoint.
I'de also like to see some rekoning in the form of new hearings on Waco and the
other federal atrocities
with a view towards throwing the book at Reno and a her cohorts and disbanding the
ATF. Sorry Mr Hamilton.
Better yet I'de love to see an end to direct federal policing! A lot of this stuff
sounds way undoable but lets remember
much of the anger comes from the Seattle set which is not truly left wing but more
like an american version of the
lumpen proletariat of Weimar Germany. The only difference being that these Seattle
guys have money, are well
connected and come from old money families. Really, you be amazed at how much
money their parents spend
keeping them in rags! Anyway, these guys could actually be brought over to the
right, maybe even along with Nader
Afterall, an animal rights activist and a protectionist can be brought together
with each other, bringing into the
right-of-centre fold should be a no-brainer. As long as we don't give them
uniforms or How-To books there's
no danger.FinallyI'de like to see an end to all US military engagements under UN
auspices but there's little hope
of this happening since it was Bush's father who started this whole mess with the
war against Iraq. In a way paving
the way for comarade Clinton to order the massacre of the Serbs the name of human
rights. For future reference,
I';de hate to get into a real war in Europe without the Serbs on my side. Just Ask
the Germans.
Anyway enough of this political crap I canb load any M in my sleep even if the
dream is dark. All I do is fold
over about 1/4 inch of the leader and pass itr through both slots of the takeup
spool anchoring it on the slot that
film exits on. I can now close the cover early and get usually one more frame out
of a role.

I got a set of campaign jokes in the mail

        Presidential bumper stickers

I'm sure this is just the beginning .....

"Those who cast the votes decide nothing.
Those who count the votes decide everything."
        -Joseph Stalin

Don't Blame Me - I voted for Gore... I Think

        Jews for Buchanan

My parents retired to Florida and all I got was this lousy President

Disney gave us Mickey, Florida gave us Dumbo

        DON'T THROW AWAY YOUR VOTE........
LET KATHERINE HARRIS DO IT FOR YOU

Who is this Chad guy and why is he pregnant.

Bush trusts the people, but not if it involves counting.

To you I'm a drunk driver; to my friends, I'm presidential material!

One person, one vote (may not apply in certain states)

I DIDN'T VOTE FOR HIS DADDY EITHER

IT AIN'T OVER 'TILL YOUR BROTHER COUNTS THE VOTES

The election can't be broken. We just fixed it.

The skies (wheeze) of Texas (cough) are upon you! (choke)

George W. Bush: The President Quayle We Never Had

The last time somebody listened to a Bush, folks wandered in the
desert for
        40 years

        Campaign spending: $184,000,000.
Having your little brother rig the election for you: Priceless.

See Ya
Javier
