Blanket statements like this are just plain wrong. It depends on what you are looking for, and how many other people are interested in it. In the Leica world, you may be right, but in the Hasselblad and Rollei and Fuji and other camera worlds, you are dead wrong. I have found many extreme bargains on eBay. You are right that it does depend on what you consider an extreme bargain...and I believe that varies with the type of item...if you can get a new Leica lense for %25 off that may be an extreme deal....for that particular Leica item...
