There are a couple of Leica dealers here in San Francisco. Adolf Gassers on
2nd and Howard (www.gassers.com) and Calumet on Bryant and 18th
(www.calumetphoto.com) Down in the south bay there is Keeble and Shucket.

Subject: [Leica] Bay Area Dealers and Prices

I'm just about to take the plunge on my first Leica (M6 TTL + 35mm Summicron
ASPH) and am looking for a good dealer in the S.F. Bay Area. Any
recommendations?

Do all dealers charge the same prices? It seems to be the case for the few
I've called.

Since cost is somewhat of a consideration, would I be better off ordering
mail order instead? If so, any suggestions? How important is a good local
dealer vs. lower prices?

Thanks.
