Subject: RE: [Leica] Cosina still at it

Some of the recent Japanese adapters come boxed with a 'key' of sorts.
These 'keys' span the width of the adapter and lock into two small holes on
either side of the void, enabling a twisting motion to extract it.
The original Leitz adapters had three indents around the rim of the
adapter, at 9 o'clock, 12 o'clock and 3 o'clock. The rear of the lens cap
would engage in these three indents and again facilitate removal.
Two ways to solve the same problem.

I have a Leica adapter. No key....See my other post for the trick about
using the reart lens cap from an earlier vintage lens as the "wrench"....

How does one obtain one of these keys?
