We try to spend New Years Day in Monterey and the night at Asilomar. It's a
good time to get rooms.

This year I took the M6 and was able to enjoy a wedding taken on the public
beach. People wandered around and watch, the surfers got stoned and watched
from the cliffs, and the waves were amazing.
