But does it need to be improved? I think it is fine as it is, with a good
balance of collector vs. user material, good print quality and a merciful
absence of ads. I think that the LHSA is one of the better values out there. I
am also fine with keeping the ads in a separate publication; I keep the
Viewfinders, and trash the Catalog -->> less shelf space taken up. I think that
Viewfinder compares favorably with, say, the Journal of the Royal Photographic
Society. And that membership costs about 3-4 times that of the LHSA (and I will
not be renewing mine).
