But the fact remains the bad QC ( or QA)... why are these items getting out of the factory with BASIC problems? Beating on the reps does little to no good... they work for the company.. those on the LUG who can reach to the top echelons could and should make themselves and the defective facts known. Ditto any special meetings with Leica at events like LHSA meetings, PMA, etc. Frank Filippone red735i@earthlink.net
