I am JUST the right age to remember this perspective/foreshortening argument
in both Modern and Popular Photo..... expanded to include.....

The Elmar or SUmmicron 90mm on a Leica M3
The Hektor 73mm On a Leica LTM (I guress the 90's as well as the 105 Mt
Elmar could be added... I might also include the ( senior moment)
Whatchamacallit with the Disks.... Was there a 85 also????)
The Triotar or Sonnar 85mm on a Contax RF
The 105 Nikkor on the Nikon SP or Nikon F
God knows how many other FL were included in other brands....

The final recommendation was..... whatever YOU like.

Yes, I shot them all..... they all work.

I prefer the argument of the sharpest lens for the portrait, then being told
to use a Stocking to degrade the image for womens' portraits....made no
sense to me.....use a Coke bottle for those over 60....

Frank Filippone... getting closer to 60 than I will admit to....
