I think that the ECLAN facility has a lot of production capacity which Leica
now does not. As we have discussed, they have to take production time away
from popular profitable items that are in short supply. If ELCAN is still
producing Leica lenses, I am sure custom specifications for those lenses
would be possible. Are they still producing any lenses for Leica?

I have, though this discussion, come to realise that all the screw-ball
Leitz items out there that I come across seem to have come from Joseph and
his family!
