Subject: RE: [Leica] Komura 135mm f2.8 in M mount

David,
I guess it must be a hell of a lot better than the 'bargain' 135/2.8
T/Elmarit I bragged about buying yesterday!
Got my first rolls back yesterday, the lens is not showing true focus,
every shot has wayyyyyy too much bokeh!
Remedial action will be taken.

I found the Komura article in the 'Viewfinder' mag I'd mentioned previously
in a different post.
Though there was no specific comment on the abilities of your lens, the
general consensus was that Komura made a lot of lens available at a fair
price and if you stop down a couple of stops you may well be happy! Vague,
I know, but it's all I can offer.

The lens is far from common, your assessment of it would be the first most
people would have read.
regards,
Jem

I have one of these telephotos that I use on my M-3, does anyone have an
objective opinion as to how this lens stacks up relative to the 135 Hektor
4.5 / 135mm f4 Elmarit or the 135 f2.8 tele Elmarit.
thanks
