Saying that the new 35 is 'too contrasty' or 'too sharp' is like saying that 
sex can be 'too good' or that Col. Sanders secret recepe is 'too delicious'.

Do yourself a favor, get the new ASPH and be amazed.  If the LUG gives you 
buyers remorse send me the new lens and I'll send you my old pre ASPH...
