It would seem that the moderator used the email equivalent of a UV filter
on your message, which of course begs the question: would you say the
quality of your post was degraded in any way by the use of said filter?

Why not test it yourself by leaving on vacation and having your
autoresponder repeatedly resend you the above UV filter query, having set
your email program to filter it to the trash?

Then report your findings back to the LUG.
