OK George, this is the way it is. So pay attention.

Remove the Leica camera lens, even if it is a P&S. Put the lens in a
leather case, then in a Domke bag. Put the bag in a safe deposit box.

Use Super Glue and glue a UV filter over the Leica camera lens mount hole.

This will forever protect the innards of the camera AND the lens.

PS... Don't ever get caught using a chrome lens on an olive Leica. Really
tacky. Really really tacky!
