Unfortunately the S-Biogon is a huge 50mm mount so without massive surgery
the Valoy would not be able to accept it. If the column is much higher I
would suspect it would interfere with the projected image - I had to reverse
the mounting block as it is to avoid hindering my easel when using a Focotar
50.

I am going to get a less exotic 40mm but guess the same problem will recur
to some extent. How big an image did you get with yr Valoy II and the 40mm?
Anyhow I rarely print much larger than 12x16 and I do have another enlarger
available for big prints (up to 20x24 I think) so it is not a pressing
issue...
