Hi Steve,

I own a 300 2.8 USM L (not IS) but have no experience with R gear
(except quick handling in some photshops).
On my side I will keep my EOS gear (BTW, I bought yesterday an EOS3 to 
replace my EOS50 :-) and not swith to R system, because I like AF with tele.
On the other hand, I will never replace my M gear by some Canon lenses 
covering the 21-135 range, except one zoom or lens to use with flash
and for my wife. I will probably soon buy a 28-70 2.8 or 28-135 IS or only a 
50 1.4 to replace my current low-end zoom.

85% of pic are taken with one of my 2 Ms the other 12% with the 300mm and 
the remaining with flash.
