Well... enough of us predicted this. Most Leica M users, I believe, like
the fact that the Leica M is a quiet manual mechanical camera. I could not
figure out where the market is/was for an electronic M. The very essence of
a 35mm rangefinder camera is simple, manual, and mechanical. Even with a
RapidWinder. Obviously there will be folks who buy, would buy, electronic,
AE, RF cameras. But I believe they are outside the bell curve.

Maybe time will tell. Or has it already told? Has the bell tolled?
