They (Film Rescue) tell the same sad tale.

From the pricelist on their website:
"Please note: Kodachrome (non K-14) slide film can no longer be processed
into color slides.  A modified process is used, resulting in B&W negatives
and prints."

Apparently Kodak had an agreement with the EPA to stop manufacturing the
dyes after a certain period of time, apparently for environmental reasons.
