Ah Sonny of eloquent simplicity you've all ready over exposed the cat before you
even open up more making it worse by just going with the indicated reading!
Ignorance is bliss! Have fun! He wants a simple picture of his cat, not an over
exposed one. 

A knowledge of the simple facts of how the use a simple exposure meter sure has
made my photographic life more simple. I'm a real simple guy too!
Is the cat's name "snowball"?
