I tried, but I have not seen the results yet. On the Hove book, Leica accessory, they say that the 12585 fits any 35 with 42 mmm exterrnal diam. But the first version of the 12504 was round and not square. Thus, I assume that the round 12504 was for the 35f2 and the 12585 for the 50 and 35f2.8 ?
