There is a product known as "camera tape" used on film sets. This is used to
show that film magazines are loaded, seal film cans, etc...
It is a cloth tape that doesn't leave a gummy residue after it is removed.
If you live in a major center, you should find one or two motion picture supply
houses in the local yellow pages.
It is remarkably similar to what we Canadians call "hockey tape."
