I was pretty sure that the fine print of the owners manual (if you lost
yours, I'm sure you can find a replacement from eb*y) specified using
german-engineered cars to transport Leicas.  Anything else is a violation of
the implied user agreement and means that Solms can confiscate improperly
transported cameras.
