Last Friday I had the chance to stop by the Leica Gallery , and I so happy I
did. The two exhibitions: George Rodgers and Marilyn Monroe by Magnum
photographers were terrific. There was one Rodger's picture, a line of women
waiting in line for bread in Naples at the end of the war, that was
haunting. As for MM, even that late in her life, she seems electric.

Also had the chance to pick up Erwin's book and all I can say is bravissimo!
I'm enjoying it every chance I get, especially the parts about the evolving
design philosophy in Wetzlar - Midland - Solms over the years.

Everyone who has been enchanted by a Leica or just uses one should
definitely read this book. Thank you Erwin.
