Yep.  They estimated several months' repair lag.  When that had passed
and I called for an update, they tacked a few more months on.  I think
it was the third go-around when they expressed their intention to
replace the camera entirely, then there was a delay before it arrived.
With the warranty card already removed and submitted in my name.

I was a mite steamed while it weas going on.  Luckily, it wasn't my
only M body, or I'd have been livid.  In retrospect, I'm glad they
decided to get things really right, even if it did require the delay
of waiting for the improved circuitry to be developed and put into
production...  the replacement camera's a peach.  But still...
