Subject: Re: [Leica] 28mm f/1.2 - it's in the new Leica Program catalog

frank,

wouldn't it be f1:2 == f2 ?

since f is the ratio of focal length to aperture diameter?

it's a simple typo to make 1:2 into 1.2

the english and german pages of the leica website use slightly different
nomenclature :

(english)  SUMMICRON-M ASPH.          f/2/28 mm
(german)   SUMMICRON-M ASPH.          1:2/28 mm
