Dear Dick,

Here in Australia our "passport" warranty on new cameras does not cover 
accident damage as in the US. Apparantly for a short time Leica Australia 
did provide this (only a one year warranty as opposed to the US 3 year 
policy)- but they dropped it....or as they claim, too many people "dropped" 
their cameras....
