The simple features that make 6.0 better are a noticebly sped-up "save for web" command and a nicer collection of "make web pages" and "make contact sheet" batch commands. But most of the 6.0 upgrade is to include features from Illustrator. In 6.0 you can do a lot with Beziers and cubic splines, which is a huge timesaver for those who need it and utterly useless for those who don't.
