As the outside hot molded element of our ASPHs are made of Hoya glass having one
of their premium filters over that does not seem so overly inappropriate to me
some how. Especially now as they now have multicoated high end ones with good rims.
I'd prefer even a cheaper Hoya to a Tiffen which is a sandwich of two sheets of
optical glass with a creamy gel filter in between. Six surfaces count em six!
