Subject: RE: [Leica] Salgado - Simply The Best?? Talk amongst yourselves

The Salgado images of children, when I saw them all together in one gallery,
made me think that they were images of normal children full of hope. I could
not help comparing a very similar image of a child at his mothers grave side
in the McCullin AIDS exhibition and this caused a tear to well in my eyes. I
found it an image of no hope

If I may jump in with this thread. I too see the hope in Salgado's
images-those of the children. Look at his book
"The Children". Yes there in their eyes is where I see hope in his images.
