Subject: [Leica] Telephoto's as macro lens

With all the discussion about long lenses I thought some photo's
demonstrating what can be done is appropriate.
The first is isolating a detail in this case a pine needle. If you are
around pine trees you know that the needles are only fractions of an inch
apart.
The second shows that a long lens can focus through intervening objects to
isolate what you want to show shrinking or enlarging depending on where you
locate your camera.
The last image demonstrates both a black background on a sunny day and what
a mirror lens can do in OOF areas.
