I am sorry to hear it is new. Unfortunately this is not the first time we
have heard of shutter bounce troubles in new cameras. Send it back! Mine,
brand new a year and a half ago, it still working fine though it sounds a
little dry to me. After the warranty runs out I will send it to someone I
trust for a good (wet) CLA.
