With the M6, I am often forced to shoot at f16 and 1/1000, when I would really like to shoot at say f2 or f4. I like the shallow depth of field of those large apertures. That's when I have to get the R8 out and rely on its top shutter speed of 1/8000 to shoot high speed film in daylight! So, in these situations, it would be nice to have a 1/2000 or 1/4000 shutter speed with the M6. But I don't think that is going to happen anytime soon! I am sure there are many Leica users who like to use their Leica lenses at the maximum aperture possible. That's where Leica lenses are better than all the competitors! :-) Sincerely, Muhammad R.K.
