[Author Prev] [Author Next] [Thread Prev] [Thread Next] [Author Index] [Topic Index] [Home] [Search]Geez, Ted, you're reaching deeper and deeper into my wallet :-) I did attempt the extension tube plus extender, but being somewhat thrifty, the extension tube I have is of the the Leicaflex vintage and would not mate onto the extender, tho it fits the bayonet mount of the lens fine. Maybe if I really clean up my act between now and Christmas, I might find a macro adapter in my stocking instead of the usual twigs and coal. Mobility is also a concern in 'fly shooting in the field, and during the season I'll often find myself either seated or on my belly on the ground to photograph one of the winged beasties, wriggling around a bit to get as much of the critter as possible parallel to the film plane. Sometimes my behind is a more useful support than a tripod.
