[Leica] Question from a friend about Ilford film development.

Can anyone advise the best dev. for grain and tonality? I'm about to 
try 35mm Delta on urban landscape in our usually cloudy English 
Autumn weather. Also I'm going to take shots of preserved steam 
railway locos on a rural branch line in 3 weeks. Advice about the 
best way to get detail in the wheels/gears/dark (but shiny) paintwork 
would also be appreciated. Thanks. Jeff
